Is Tim Cook next Steve Ballmer and other friday links

I'm an Apple fan-boy so I had to read Why Tim Cook is Steve Ballmer and Why He Still Has His Job at Apple. It's hard to say if that's the reality but I think the overall idea that good executors are not good innovators sticks. Also I still don't understand why there's no other company doing what Apple does great - building a cohesive ecosystem.
